Tomato sauce from a can is what I use. I don't know about Maggie sauce but if sauce is made of only tomatoes, not added with any other flavors or spices, it's okay to add. Or you can grind the fresh tomatoes too to use it. Enjoy.

Hi Purni, how are you sweetheart? I am doing okay, just taking a break since it's holiday time, busy with kids.
Great tip girl, water+oil combo spray sounds great. I just sprinkle some water on whenever I reheat the leftovers or MWing idlis. Otherwise they get too dry. Will try oil and water combo. Hugs for the great tip, always welcome!:))

Asha, just got a tip - when food is being made in MW, especially pizzas n cakes, chef asked to spray a small amt-just a layer frm distance, of water+oil combi(1 cup water and a tsp of oil in a spraying bottle) to retain moisture and to obtain better
